After hair transplantation, it is necessary to pay attention to hair care, to be more careful than normal and to protect the hair against many external factors. The most sensitive issue in the process after hair transplantation is washing. After hair transplantation, crusting occurs in the transplanted area and this is normal. After crusting, those areas become sensitive and therefore it is necessary to follow the washing procedures step by step. The final wash after transplantation is carried out by experts, and the purpose here is to breathe the hair follicles and to ensure that the hair is free of crusts and becomes normal.

Final Washing Stages After Hair Transplantation

After the procedure, delicate washing is applied for 1 week. In the final stage, you can now behave more comfortably. For this reason, in the last wash, it is aimed to remove the crusts in the area where the hair is transplanted, and the washing process may be a little harsh compared to the others. The final washing steps are;

  • First, lotion is applied to the transplanted area.
  • The lotion is massaged into the scalp and fed by applying a little pressure.
  • The lotion, which will allow the crusts to be easily removed, is left on the scalp for about 1 hour.
  • At the end of 1 hour, the final wash is started with warm water.
  • Hair roots are softened by massaging in circular motions with warm water. Since the hair is hardened due to crusting, it may break and fall out, but there is nothing to worry about here.
  • Gauze can be used to peel off the shells more easily.
  • A nourishing shampoo is applied to the hair, and then the scalp is washed with this cloth to soften the crusts. Thanks to these processes, airless hair follicles get rid of their shells. After the last wash, the hair follicles, which start to breathe, now allow the hair to grow from below and healthy hair growth occurs.

While washing the hair after hair transplantation, it is necessary to be careful not to use nails, as bacterial accumulation can be intense. Washing should be done with fingertips.
